We are pleased to share a significant interim relief secured for our client, Jiostar India Pvt. Ltd., before the Delhi High Court in a dispute concerning the media and commercial rights of the Legends League Cricket Masters T20 tournament.
Acting for the Petitioner, our team successfully obtained an order under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, restraining the Respondents from creating any third-party rights or transferring, assigning, or otherwise dealing with the league’s media and commercial rights, pending arbitration proceedings.
The Hon’ble Court recognised that any such transfer could result in a complete erosion of the subject matter of the dispute, and accordingly granted urgent interim protection to safeguard our client’s contractual and commercial interests.
We are grateful for the trust placed in us and proud of the outcome achieved.
